This is my catch of the day. Ain't she a beauty?
Bobbie got her line stuck and I had to retrieve it for her. This picture only shows about 1/5 of the tree. I am about 20 feet from shore. I almost fell in twice trying to unsnag her the line. I got it though.
This is the beauty Bobbie caught. We did not have a scale or a measuring tape but it felt to be about just under 10 lbs. Maybe about 6-8.
It was at least 18 in. Not too shabby!
He is so good lookin'.

How did it taste?
We didn't keep it. Bobbie doesn't like fish. Not the taste, the smell, the feel, nothing. She has no problem putting a worm on a hook though. Which is super awesome. The next catfish we catch though, we are battering and frying and eating. She said she will try it.
I don't like fish either Bobbie, but I do like to fish.-kacie
