I put the Pocket Rocket in to show the size of this thing. I initially bought the solo set but after receiving it I realized that it was too small containing only one bowl/cup with a sipper lid. This Dualist will suit Bobbie and I both or just me for when I go on scouting trips.

Bryan's latest purchase.
The blue set is how they fit together. I also just learned that the cup and bowl are both .6L and that they have measurements marked inside the wall. The stuff sack is rubber lined and can double as a wash basin. I thought that instead would be used to let muddy water settle as we do in the Grand Canyon. I have no regret buying this beauty.

Sweet. How much does it weigh? Are the two smaller pots with lids plastic lined - what are they? And, are they non-stick?
I've been eyeballing these set-ups for some time.
The total weight is 1lb. 4.9oz. The cups and bowls are actually the same. The only difference is that the cups are slightly smaller to fit into the bowl for storage. From the picture it is hard to tell, but the cups have a removable sleeve of a foam/rubber type material for insulation. All the contents are made of a durable plastic and the lid for the metal pot seems to be similar to a Nalgine bottle.
sweet action majaction!
Nice. Although, my latest food philosophy for backpacking is to go cookless. My thinking is it saves time and weight. That probably just means I'm lazy, though.
Just pack a bunch of Gatorade and Powerbars. It works, right David?

Oh yeah, then boil gato water for your oatmeal...yummy for my tummy!
I also packed Ovaltine down this last trip and mixed with powdered milk. It was quite refreshing to have chocolate milk in the bottom of the grand canyon...yummy for everyones tummy. I packed the whole jar down, so to get rid of weight, I shared with everyone. Especially Annie and Emmy who drank an entire Nalgene bottle right before bed...ha ha!
Ask Joe about the time he drank a Nalgene bottle right before bed--one filled with un-treated Colorado River water.

I miss you guys. John
