The beautiful Remington 870. The first day Bobbie and I were here my Bro in law Jake asked me if I had a shotgun, my sad reply was no. He informed me that Dove season had just begun and that he shot his limit the first day he went out. I got all excited and began comparing prices. I went out on my first hunt and did pretty well. I shot about 6 but only could find 2. I learned that that is somewhat normal. Next time I hope to bring home more.

Wowzers! If the Model 870 were introduced today, it would be hailed as a major advance in pump-action shotgun design - the ultimate in strength, durability, silky-smooth bind-free action, and sleek classical lines. Yet this remarkable shotgun has been around for almost half a century, and has become the best-selling shotgun of any type in history, with over nine million made. And the Model 870 receiver is made from a solid steel block, to roller-bearing smooth. Every Model 870 receiver is machined from a single block of solid steel for unmatched strength. just one of the many reasons it’s the most proven, popular and reliable shotgun action in the world!
Got that off the Remington web site.
I'm jealous.
I'm glad to see you took my advice on the 870. It is an awesome gun.
We've got plenty of Coyotes and rabbits down here in Cali. Come on down and have yourself a shootin spree. You'll be doing both of us a favor. I know it's no dove, but hey, they all have something in common... They all poop.
That's why God invented bird dogs, so you don't lose your birds. That should be your next purchase.
Doves? Bwah ha ha ha ha ha. Really? Doves?
Did Jadon post that last comment?

That's mantastic.
The gun. Not your swiveled hips in the photo.
All you need now is a 10 gallon cowboy hat. That gun is longer than you. John
