Huntsville Alabama

Bobbie and I went down to Huntsville Alabama for the memorial day weekend. We met up with her parents down here. John is going to school at Redstone Arsenal. Kinda cool, that is where Dad went to AIT when he was in the Army. We took a little tour of post with Bobbie's Dad. It has been fun to go around and see all the sites. Today we went to the old train depot here. We have been having a great time down here so far.

This is a delicious meal Bobbie and I eated the other night. We didn't have any meals planned for this particular evening so we just took what we had in the freezer and made a meal out of it. Kind of an odd combination but oh so tasty none the less.
Jalepeno re-fried beans, tater-tots, and miniature-alien brains.

Food is Good

Bobbie and I made Pizza yesterday for lunch. We love making Pizza. We do probably once every week or two. Then for dessert later that evening we made Triple Chocolate, Hot Fudge Cake by Betty Crocker. It was so good!

This top picture is the third morning of my eye infection. It started swelling up one day. I thought it was allergies since I have been sneezing like crazy with runny nose and itchy, watery eyes. But the swelling kept getting worse. I went to the Doc and he said he thinks it's an infection. He put me on 125 mg Amoxicillin twice a day, for ten days. The side effects may include diarrhea, bloody nose, upset stomach, nausea, and growing hair in weird places. I have all but one of these. The next week and a half is going to be pretty interesting.

I didn't take very many pics

This is an accident we came upon. We were some of the first to see it. Pretty crazy!!

This is where we slept. My bed is against the wall under the hanging coat.

I feel like if I don't put a picture people will not have a desire to read my entry, oh well.

To answer Joe's questions, 'cause they are some good questions, the shift change was brought on by the DA (Department of the Army). The basically control everything that happens in the Army. My current MOS is over-strength so they are randomly selecting people to go to different jobs. #2: Yes this is something good. I feel that I have been at Campbell long enough and Bobbie and I are ready for a break. We are trying to go to a different location but not sure what we want yet. #3: If we stay here at Campbell I will still go to Afygan. I really do not want to go as you can imagine. They have also bumped up the tours to 15-18 months instead of 12. How poopy! #4: Yes I am wearing underwear, however I wish I was not at the moment. There is a sense of freedom when walking around your own home...never mind. #5: Yes my beard is kind of mangy. I better shave before P.T. tomorrow. #6: My legs hurt. #7: A Yoohoo sounds mighty good right now. Bobbie and I are both Yoohoo fans, we keep a regular supply in our fridge. #8: My lip is protruding with drool dripping off it from thinking about the hoho's and Yoohoo. #9: I confess that I can not.

As you all know I am an Apache Crew Chief, this is what I work on now, the AH-64D Apache Hecolopter.
I just came down on orders to re-class to become a Chinook Crew Chief. This is a picture of a CH-47 Chinook Hecolopter. Bobbie and I are scheduled to report to Ft. Eustis, VA 20 May 2007 to 26 July 2007. We are not sure if we will be coming back to Campbell or not, we are hoping not. We shall keep you updated.

We captured some insurgents disguised as pieces of paper. You can see here that they are lined up about to get what's coming to them.

Bobbie and I went to the Zoo on our honeymoon.

This is what I looked and felt like on our way through Kansas.

I was minding my own business playing with my piniata when I was tackled and hosed down with silly string. I guess that's what I get for crashing a five- year-old's party.

Some of you may have already seen these pictures. The first one is the bunker I was living in during the last few weeks of deployment. There is a room in the center of that cement and about 5 feet below the ground. I felt pretty safe in there. On the next one you will notice a hand print in the grease. I was climbing up onto the truck with all my gear for guard duty and I lost my balance and stopped myself from falling by putting my hand down and into the grease. Those tires are about as high as my belly button. The next picture show some of the friends we had out in Iraq. These things were anywhere there was a light. They sit in the heat and linger during the early morning. The last one is in Kuwait. This is what appears to be a McDonald's I can't read Arabic but I have a pretty good feeling that's what it is. There you have it.

Racquet Ball Baby!! I know you covet my sexiness. It's ok, it happens. Just look in the mirror everyday and say to yourself: I know one day I can be as cool as my brother Bryan.

These are some most enjoyable pictures of LBL, that's Land Between the Lakes. You can look it up and see why it is called that. Anyhoo, This is where I spent a lot of my time before I started dating Bobbie. This area is actually where we went on our first date. Those clam things are huge. The shells are all over the place and are all about that size. I took some home and made a bra type, but very masculine, support for myself to cover up my nipple-less, yet surprisingly fuzzy, chest.
So there is no confusion to who this witty and hansom man is posting these very intelligent comments and remarks, I have changed our blog name.

Since I am way over here on the other side of the world fighting for oil and defending our Freedom, I am kind of out of the loop on the "Brett knifing people" bit. What's the deal with that?

I think I just woke up or something. This is the kitchen area of our little apt.
Now I'm ready to go out on the town

This picture really doesn't relate to the other's. But I was going through some pics and thought this would be a nice one to put on here for you all to enjoy. This is at a stake dance. We sort of under dressed. Not on purpose, they just didn't specify.
This is our little friend I found in a parking lot. Poor little guy was abandoned and I had to come and rescue him. He has a good home now.
Here is a pic of beautiful truck...my beautiful Bobbie I mean. haha, this is actually one of my favorite pictures of Bobbie.
Look at me and my bad self. These are a few weeks old. Bobbie and I were spending the day down in Nashville. We had just went to the Temple and needed a place to change our clothes. We actually took turns pulling security while the other changed in the cab of the truck.
