"The best place to have food set aside is in our homes..."
"We can begin ever so modestly. We can begin with one week's food supply and gradually build it to a month and then to three months....I fear that so many feel that a long-term food supply is so far beyond their reach that they make no effort at all"
"Begin in a small way,...and gradually build toward a reasonable objective."

Bobbie and I have made a list of things we need to be better at and one of them is getting our food storage ready. We went down to the Bishop's Storehouse/Cannery Saturday and purchased some food. We now have 29 cans of food and a box of Raman Noodles.

Yeah! Good work! Now the challenge is to use them! We finally built up our storage, but we rarely use it. The potato pearls and rice have been the easiest to use so far!
I have a box of 365 Power Bars. That's all I need. I won't be able to poo, but I'll cross that bridge when it comes.
Just store a liter of untreated Colorado River water with your Power Bars.(Eric)
