Say 'ello to my li'l frien'. Remington 700 .30-06 SPS and a 3-9x40 Nikon Pro Staff scope. I purchased this beauty at Cabela's during a special promotion they had this past week.
"Wow" and "sweet" are very appropriate words. Someone already used them. Let's try, "Gnarly, dude!"
I like how you're manning this high powered rifle like your ready to hunt something down and kill it - and on the wall behind you is a picture of "The Christus."
Bryan... I've fired hundreds of rounds of just about every kind of ammo through my Remington 700 in .30-06
While each rifle fires differently, the best ammo I've found for my Rem is Nosler Ballistic Tips and Nosler AccuBonds. I use the Ballistic Tips for deer and the Accubonds for elk. However, they have a new bullet, the E-Tip which is supposed to be freakin awesome.
I've killed elk and deer with these bullets with one shot from as far away as 400 yards.
These are Premium bullets, so you're paying $25-$35 per box of 20, but you can't go wrong with them.
I usually buy .30-06 ammo on sale (Federal brands are usually cheapest - at Cabela's they're often $10-$12 per box of 20 on sale), and I fire these when I'm not hunting. However, I always take at least 3-6 shots with my Premium ammo just before each hunt when I'm sighting in.
There's my two cents. Buy yourself some bubble gum.

Wow, that's quite the gun. Hmmm... In fact it looks familiar.
Oh yes, it's the one I just bought.
Good pick!
WOW! A Remington 700! That is so cool. The gun Valli mentioned is a 30.06 770. I can't wait to shoot something!
Sweet. Make sure to bring it next time you visit.
Dave & Valli: Now you'll be able to shoot many Moosen.
Dave Heywood: Oh I definitely will be bringing it.

Gnarly.
I've added you to my Man List.

It's no Super Scraper, but it's pretty cool, I guess.
I have killed 2 elk and 3 rabbits with my Super Scraper. Right between the eyes.
Daniel has a post about politics and it has fetched 2 comments. Bryan posts about a 30.06 and people are bearing their testimonies. John
